Job Description

Seeking skilled Heavy Truck Mechanics for a Nashville, TN service team. Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium to severe-duty trucks (Class 6-9) and buses, working with brands like Cummins and International.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, alignments, brake checks).
• Conduct diagnostic tests and recommend solutions.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure repair quality.
• Maintain accurate repair records (Customer Complaint, Cause, Correction).
• Adhere to manufacturer warranty procedures and safety standards.
• Complete required OEM technical training.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience with diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, CAT a plus).
• Knowledge of diesel's, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• ASE certifications or OEM training a plus.
• Own tools and roll cart recommended.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. and work in varied conditions.
• Must pass background check, MVR, drug test, and hold valid driver’s license.
